Literal English translation[edit]

Our Father, living in Heaven,
may His name, which is to be honored, be known;
may eternal life, where He lives, come to us to gather our souls.
What He wants, which is done in heaven, may it be likewise on earth;
every day, may our food today be given to us;
for the sins, the debts we owe, may we be forgiven,
and we, likewise, forgive what is owed to us.
And during temptation, where we feel we will be, may we not be abandoned
and also from all bad things, may we be saved.
Amen, Jesus.
